Hail Ames

"Mmmm smells good, mom!" Cullen always has to smell everything...including the ink pad.

"I am afraid I just blue myself" - Tobais Funke

Who gives a 10 year old BLUE nail polish?? Really???

It could be worse!

Cullen decided to help do laundry...
Luckly he did not add the water. :)

Tastes like chicken

Cullen got the honey-mustard dipping sauce

and spilt it all over the floor and baby Afton's car seat.

Poor thing smelt like chicken nuggets for days.

.....Sorry no physical evidence!

OK before I begin, some of the things my boys do I blame myself for....and somethings I blame Brant! This one falls on him!
So Sunday during church the boys needed to go potty, and Brant was busy keeping Cullen quiet so I just told them to hurry and go. I soon realized that a good 15 min had gone by and they had not come back, so I sent Brant in after them. Another 15 min went by and NO ONE had come back. This is when I start to get suspicious. I start heading to the bathroom and I see the boys barrelling out with silly grins on their faces, Brant however was not grinning! I said, "what took so long?" His response was: " There are times in a dads life when your children make you proud,......today is not one of them!" With panic I asked what happened, and he proceeds to tell me that he went in the bathroom to find both boys SITTING in the urinals. He said, "boys, what are you doing?" Liam responds with "we're pooping!" With a frantic cry, Brant said "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" To which the response is...."we already did!!!" ......oh boy! He then said to me "If you will notice, both of their shirt tails are soaked because they flushed while still sitting in the urinal!"
This is one of very few moments where laughter proceeded the madness! The sad thing is that even though this was a new one for the boys, I was not at all shocked! Now for those of you concerned for the urinal, Brant made sure it was all taken care of! Luckily most flushed without any complications, but let me just say how grateful I am for not having to deal with this one!!!!

Jedi mind tricks!

I am pretty sure that most kids don't start being mischievous this young....unless you are an Ames' boy!

This is Liam teaching Cullen "The ways of the Force".

This is Cullen practicing on his own for the first time!
And this is where he becomes a Jedi Master of disaster! Welcome to the family, Cullen.
