The Sky is Falling!

...or the table is leaking. That is what Aiden told me Sunday morning. I went down stairs to find the new case of drinks for lunch......punctured!!! Liam had gotten a steak knife and went to town on the box. .

Out of 24 drinks, only 7 survived!

And yes the table was leaking....all over. Red and blue and purple and orange everywhere!

Welcome to the family!

Just when we thought things were calming down.... This is a can that Brant put old OIL in and left under the sink....was that a good idea???

The picture does not show it well, but the whole kitchen floor was covered in old oil. Cullen was totally swimming in it! He smelt like bacon for two days....yuck, and the pj's....garbage!

No one will admit to this one......

It was a cake!

The Little Daredevils

Most of the stories are after the fact. I was able to prevent a disaster this evening. Since Keli is in the hospital with Cullen, I am playing Mr. Mom. As I was getting dinner warmed, thanks to a great and thoughtful mother-in-law for saving me, Liam went in the garage and was playing on my skateboard. I heard him come back in and he started to head up stairs with Aiden, but did not see them. I knew something was wrong when I heard Aiden tell Liam from the top of the stairs, "Sit on your bum, and I push you." I quickly grabbed the camera and took this picture. We would have had another kid in the hospital.

My little nut...literally!

So this is just one of many crazy Sunday's that we had this last month. Liam decided to put a nut from his play tool bench on his finger! (at 7:00 am) Well it is smaller than the finger, so that quickly became a problem. To top off the problem, Brant had taken my car to High Council because it had snowed a lot the night before. And he does not take his phone to his meetings, for obvious reasons. So I had no husband and no car, and a screaming little boy! I was sure he was going to lose a finger! So in panic I called our good friend Andrew Sproul (who is also in our Bishopric) and had him drive to the Stake Center and pull Brant out of his meetings to come home. I had all the kids dressed and ready to go the hospital as soon as he got home. Luckily, Daddy saved the day. He was able to soak it in cold water long enough to pry it off his finger. What a relief! I tend to over panic sometimes, but really he could have lost a finger :)

Just a spoon full of sugar....

They broke into the pantry and got the brown sugar.....good thing I had just mopped the floor! Cake that I forgot to "Lock up"!

Couldn't wait for mommy to make lunch!

These are just a few of the disasters the last couple of weeks. There is one incident missing. The boys got to a couple of cake mixes and opened them all over the floor in my office. The best part of it was Brant was so fed up with the messes that he made them get bowls and fill them up and eat the cake mix with spoons. They were not happy about this. And they had to be BIG bites! I don't think they will be eating cake (or cake mix) for a while! Unfortunately the pictures did not turn out or you could have witnessed their faces for yourself.

Tarzan....watch out for that TREE

This is how I found the boys when they were supposed to be getting their pj's on. Practicing swinging through the trees like Tarzan. Well at least they are in a loin cloth :)

So sweet, so innocent, so....NAUGHTY!

So sweet....

So innocent..........SO NAUGHTY!

Aiden was supposed to be napping on my bed. When I went in to check on him, he looked fine. Then I noticed that something was under the covers.....which ended up being goldfish, dads scriptures, and our travel scrabble game with pieces everywhere! UUGGH the crumbs!

Flushed Away!

What does a Popsicle...

and Yoplait yogurt have in common??
They have both have caused the removal of our downstairs toilet to be fished out.
I am so lucky to have a husband that can fix anything. He deserves an award after playing in this mess! Sorry Brant, I just could not resist adding this picture. I love you.

Maybe he's born with it?

We have not had any major disasters in a few weeks, so I don't have anything recent to post. But I did happen to find these pictures of much early mischief. I am pretty sure they were just born with the genes to cause trouble....it's their dads side :)

This is Aiden and Liam, even as a baby he was naughty! I am pretty sure this was an Aiden day.....

and this. How can you be mad at that smile?
